Master in Risk and Emergency Management (REM): The REM Master Program is being offered by the Understanding and Managing Extremes (UME) Graduate School of IUSS Pavia, jointly awarded with the University of Pavia. The interdisciplinary curriculum includes topics of statistics and probability, law, economics, resource management, natural hazards and risk, finance, insurance, sociology, communication, psychology, public health and medicine. Renowned lecturers from around the world make up the teaching body. Applications are currently open for 2016/17, with a deadline of April 29, 2016 at 13:00. A number of scholarships and/or tuition waivers are available for the highest-ranking applicants.
