Priority setting in NGOs: Learning across human rights, humanitarianism and conservation
Friday 31st March, 9.30 to 12.30, London School of Economics
20 Kingsway (McKenna) - KSE.1.04
supported by the Economic and Social Research Council
International NGOs are committed to values that are universal, or global in ambition, yet they work with limited resources and have to manage their commitments to different causes, places, and people.
NGOs are under increasing pressure to formally account for their decision-making, both before and after the fact.
At this event experienced practitioners from some of the world's leading organizations involved in human rights, humanitarianism and conservation will present reflections on the state of the art in their fields.
Researchers will also share findings from an ESRC-funded research project on prioritization in different fields.
Attendance is free but places are limited. Please email k.robinson@gold.ac.uk to reserve a place.
